By addressing barriers such as public stigma, emotional adjustment and employment difficulties, HOPE for Success equips women with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. From no-cost job readiness training and workforce navigation to ongoing personal development, the program provides a real second chance for these women to achieve lasting success and contribute positively to their communities.
Dress for Success Phoenix empowers women and their family to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools needed to help women thrive in work and in life.
We provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, however we are about much more than simply a new outfit. In addition to equipping the client with apparel and accessories, our extensive job readiness and career training furnish her with a confidence that she carries forever with the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.
Gender-specific reentry programming is recognized as more effective in various studies, including the meta-analytic review published by the Department of Justice’s Criminal Justice and Behavior Journal in 2016.
“Since there are few females who are incarcerated that are without deficits in employment, education, or skills, employment programming may be more relevant for a greater number of reentering women than even substance abuse treatment.” (Miller, 2021)
